Mali Acker, 7, of Delaware, relaxes with her father Rick during a break at the Northeast Ohio Soap Box Derby/Ashtabula County competition on Sunday at Ashtabula Towne Square in Ashtabula Township which included 34 competitors. The indoor competitions are held in three divisions with some competitors earning a trip to the national championships in Akron this coming summer. The local group also sponsors a regional championship on July 15 in Conneaut with the winners of three division heading to the Akron as well.
