Veterans place money in front of Wayne Jewell, 73, of North Kingsville, following his sentencing hearing in Conneaut Municipal Court. He was sentenced following a May incident when he took an American flag, being flown upside down, on the property of Deborah Dickson on West Main Raod in Conneaut. He was sentenced to pay a total of $100 in fines and placed on unsupervised probation for a year.
