Michele Pitonyak of Conneaut works with her service dog during a Responsible Dog Ownership Day program under the watchful eye of Jude Iaconianni of the Grand River Kennel Club who was performing a "Canine Good Citizen" evaluation on the dog at Walnut Beach on Saturday. The event was sponsored by the Ashtabula Kennel Club and included a wide variety of dog races, educational opportunities and social interaction for people and dogs.
